Pen Drumming
Won Over By Reality
By Tim Bayer
BRIGHTON New York—(Weekly Hubris)—11/4/2013—I was a schoolboy (if a long, long time ago, now) and, in school, I (always) had a writing instrument: first, pencils; then, pens. I sat at a desk (grammar school through high school), and (like all maddening schoolboys) tapped first my pencil, and then my pen, on my desk . . . but it never, ever sounded like the pens on the desk do in the video clip I share with you below.
Before moving ahead, take a quick look back, though. In the event you were too busy last week to surf Weekly Hubris, here’s a link to my last offering in this space, a rib-tickler titled “Lip Synch Madness”.
When you’re caught up, the beat for this week may begin.
PS In fact, this isn’t the first time I’ve come across a drumming video I thought good enough to share. If you like today’s offering (and you feel the need to catch up on some goof-off time), you will definitely like the video I posted several months ago in a column titled, “A Funny Thing . . . for Jan. 14, 2013”.
(If you, yourselves, come across an entertaining link or video, I’d be interested in seeing it, and sharing it with my readers at Weekly Hubris. Please contact me at: Email: [email protected].)

BOTH vids are amazing!

Thank you. It is nice to know that the videos I like are also resonating with others. I deliberately put back links in my columns so that it is easy for folks to track backwards to previous posts just in case there is need for an attitude-adjustment-break from work (or life). Keep surfing in and I will do my best to keep serving up good videos.
