A Guy Thing

Won Over By Reality

Guys versus Chicks
Guys doing guy-stuff.

Tim BayerBRIGHTON New York—(Weekly Hubris)—1/6/2014—It’s a guy thing.

There are chick things and guy things, and this video is definitely a guy thing.

Before moving forward, let me retrace my tracks a little. If you missed my last post, it was titled “An Animal Jingle” and likely had more universal appeal than the gender-dividing video I’m offering up this week.

I suspect most women following the video link here will be unimpressed by this week’s footage—or, at best, left indifferent. Guys, on the other hand, will probably laugh out loud at the screen.

I laughed out loud at the screen.

Click on the video link and, in 43 seconds, you can confirm or refute my gender-based conclusions: I expect I’ll then be getting some comments . . . .

(If you, yourselves, come across an entertaining link or video, I’d be interested in seeing it, and sharing it with my readers at Weekly Hubris. Please contact me at: Email: [email protected].)

Winter Driving Training In 3 Steps

Tim Bayer, Webmaster, and Assistant Editor of Weekly Hubris, was born and brought up in Webster, New York. He attended St. Bonaventure University, earning a BS in Computer Science, and then worked in the hi-tech world. In 2002 he turned his creative energies to product development and video production with the release of his first independently produced products. When the demand for web site design and freelance writing increased, he once again switched skill sets . . . to writing and web work. An avid or, to be more accurate, rabid, disc golfer, he may often be found chasing plastic while in pursuit of the perfect round on a disc golf course, or designing and developing disc golf products for Demogrid.com. He says he tries to find the humor hidden in everyday experiences, because, “life is too important to be taken seriously.” (Author photo by Tim Bayer. Author Head Shot Augment: René Laanen.)

Tim, I worry: I thought this was hysterical. But then, I belong to the “Blazing Saddles” School of American Humor. Also, the creature reminds me of my 5th-grade teacher. :-)

This is certainly in the “Blazing Saddles” genre. I loved that movie.

BTW: Another movie that I found astonishingly funny and is as flippant as “Blazing Saddles” was the movie, “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story”. If you liked “Blazing Saddles”, I believe you will like “Dodgeball”.

It’s cold outside. Stay in. Stay warm. Watch funny movies … or funny videos on Weekly Hubris.
