Pauline Panagiotou Schneider was born in Nigeria and raised in Greece. She moved to Texas at the age of 15 with her parents and three younger siblings. She received her first college degree in Radio/TV Production, and moved soon thereafter to Los Angeles, where she met her future husband and father of her three children while working at Dream Quest. They raised their family in New York state, where she studied art and film at the State University of New York-Purchase. She received her B.A. degree in Sociology and Anthropology and graduated Magna Cum Laude at Pace University, where she also received her Master of Education in Social Studies, with honors. She holds New York state education certifications in Visual Arts, Social Studies, and Special Education. Schneider has been an activist for several decades, with foci on social justice and environmental protection. She is also an artist, landscape designer, and professional videographer whose work has appeared on National Geographic. She is a certified facilitator with the Alternatives to Violence Project, and a certified specialist in the Grief Recovery Method. Ms. Schneider owns and operates the Stardust Sanctuary Farm in western Belize. The property is now for sale, and Pauline recently relocated to Maitland, Florida in support of her immediate family.
