They Said What?!
Won Over By Reality
By Tim Bayer
BRIGHTON New York—(Weekly Hubris)—2/3/2014—The Superbowl may be over but, if you need just a little more football, I’ve got your back (or halfback).
Have you have ever tried (or even tried to avoid) lip-reading to decipher what players, coaches, and referees are saying at a game? If so, you’ve probably realized that accurate lip-reading isn’t easy (beyond the four-letter words). What I share with you today illustrates the following maxim: lip-reading may be difficult, but bad lip-reading can be hilarious.
(Bookkeeping note: If you missed my last post and want to catch up, here’s a link to last week’s cat-and-kitten/dog-and-puppy post: “The First Step Is The Tough One”.)
And you’re not required to be a football fan to enjoy this week’s video. Just watch it if in need of a good laugh.
(If you, yourselves, come across an entertaining link or video, I’d be interested in seeing it, and sharing it with my readers at Weekly Hubris. Please contact me at: Email: [email protected].)

Tim, this is the funniest thing you’ve posted, yet. It ALMOST makes up for having to watch Namath’s coin toss last night. Almost. And Peyton, obviously, did NOT bring his potion. :-)

Thanks. Yes, an entertaining video.
It is unfortunate that the Broncos came unraveled at the 10 second mark of the first quarter. Like everyone, I was hoping for a more entertaining game.

At least, Tim, the Broncos came unraveled AFTER Namath. :-)
